You should have a copy of this remarkable book if you have a passion for aviation, or if you wish to know more about the history of aircraft. It will teach you everything you need to know about the subject, from the very beginnings of aviation to recent (that is to say in the 1970s when the book was first published) aircrafts and modern commercial aviation. Military planes are not forgotten with chapters about World War I and World War II.
The 170 photographs (in black and white and in colour) are superb and the texts are very well written.
The book is in very good condition with just a light scratch on the bottom left corner of the back cover.
There is an index at the end.
