In the old days in France, brass or copper saucepans were sometimes hanged on kitchen walls, especially in the countryside, as a decorative object.
This frying pan, with its embossed representations of Monuments of Paris, was sold to tourists in the 50s or 60s as a souvenir of this beautiful city.
It represents five monuments : The Eiffel Tower, the Opera, the Arc de triomphe, Notre Dame cathedral and the Sacre Coeur of Montmartre.
Nowadays these souvenirs frying pans are quite hard to find.
Please note that this pan is for decoration only. Do not use it on a stove.
