Not only is this vintage 1970s gas cooker lighter really rare, but its typical Seventies design is fabulous! Orange, with a black button that produces a sparkle when you press it. This gas lighter looks rather yellow on the photos but it is orange in fact.
The sparkle is clearly visible, so the instrument seems to be working well, but as the sparkle is small, I do not know if this will be enough to light the gas cooker easily. I can not guarantee that you will be able to use this instrument without having to open it first and change something inside. If you want to open it, you have two very small screws at the back (originally three screws but one is missing). These two screws are rusted on their visible part.
The orange plastic is a bit scratched, especially at the back of the instrument and on one side, but you really have to put your nose on the object to see that. The metal part at the end also shows some signs of age.
