Where can I find the shop's full Terms and Conditions?

Sizes of clothes.

I also sell vintage clothes in my fantastic attic.
For size conversions, please refer to this website (some other conversion websites are also very good).



Care instructions.

Some vintage clothes do not have any labels on them, so I do my best to provide care instructions for the type of fabric they are made of.

Items sold by Retrofanattic are old, and they sometimes show signs of age. Customers are always informed about damages on an item. 
If clothes present light stains, I usually do not wash them and sell them as seen. I will do my best to inform the customer about the origin of the stain. You can refer to this website for more info about how to clean stains.




Custom orders (=offers).

You can make an offer on an item. If I accept your offer, I will then send you an invoice through Paypal (please provide me with your valid Paypal email address).
Offers are valid for a week from the moment the invoice is sent.
Returns (and refunds) are accepted for all custom orders, except when customers asked me to find a special item for them, which I did not have in stock.



Personalised orders.

Please contact me prior to checkout if you wish to buy only part of a set. If I can sell the rest of the set without your items, I will then accept your personalised order and send you an invoice through Paypal. 
Example of an order which I will not be able to accept: six cups and six saucers sold together, and you wish to buy only the cups.



Taxes and fees for international customers.

By buying from this shop, international customers outside the European Union accept to pay any custom taxes and/or fees asked by the authorities of their country. 
These taxes and fees are independent from Retrofanattic. They are not included in the total price (item + postage) and are not refundable by Retrofanattic.




Why do buyers have to pay for the return postage?

Buyers have the right to change their mind and decide to return the parcel. However, this can not possibly be considered as the seller's responsibility. This is why the Distance Selling Regulations ask the buyer to pay for the return postage. The only case where I would accept to pay for the return postage is if the item was significantly not as described.




I still haven't received my parcel. What shall I do?

In case the parcel is abnormally late: 

= more than :

- 15 days (excluding Sundays) if sent 2nd class in the UK
- 7 days (excluding Sundays) if sent 1st class in the UK
- 30 days (excluding Sundays) if sent to other countries


please contact me immediately if I haven't contacted you first. I will then ask UK's postal services, and your country's postal services if you are abroad, to make an enquiry. If the result of the enquiry shows that your parcel has been lost, I will then issue a full refund (item + initial postage) on your Paypal account.

Please remember that parcels take longer to arrive at Christmas and when checked by your country's custom authorities.

SUMMARY OF THE SHOP'S POLICIES

- Non listed countries: please ask me for a quote. 
---> This is also valid if you are based in the Isle of Man, Channel Islands and other islands.
Please note that I do not send to P.O boxes.


- Open to offers on all items. 

- Paypal payment only. Debit/credit cards must be processed through Paypal. Thank you.

- UK customers: when the parcel is sent with Royal Mail, you can choose between 1st class, 2nd class or "Special Delivery by 1 pm" at checkout. If you choose 2nd class, your parcel is sent "Standard" or "Signed For", according to the nature and value of the item, but you always pay for the standard delivery.


- UK customers: when the parcel is big or heavy and needs to be sent with a courier, you can choose between MyHermes, Parcelforce, UPS or Yodel. Please note that it may not always be possible to send your parcel with your chosen courier. If, for any reason, your favourite courier is not available, I will then choose the best available service for you.


- I dispatch your item within 1 working day when sent with Royal Mail (items paid for on Fridays after 1 pm may have to be dispatched on the following Monday) and 1 to 2 working days if sent with another courier. 


- I combine postage by sending you a revised invoice with the recalculated postage, or by refunding the extra postage if you have already paid for your purchases.
Extra postage is also refunded if you buy a single item and the postage has been miscalculated.


- International customers may have to pay custom fees and/or taxes, and their parcels may be held for a few days by the custom authorities of their country.




Returns

- Returns accepted.

- The customer has 14 days to cancel the purchase and pays for the return postage.



Accepted refunds

Full refunds are accepted when purchases are cancelled and the item is returned in its original condition and protection. Please protect the item carefully, and always ask for a proof of postage or use the Signed For (Tracked and Signed) service.

→ Full refunds are accepted if your item(s) arrive broken.

 Full refunds are accepted if your parcel is lost by postal services.
