The first page of the book says that "The Book of Handicrafts for all the family" was first published by Sundial Books Limited, then by Treasure Press in 1975. Later on in 1976 there was a St Michael version of it.

This is the 1975 Treasure Press edition. I have never seen another one for sale in that edition with that cover. The inside of the book is apparently the same in all editions, but the front and back covers are different.

This is an extraordinary book if you want to learn Feltcraft, Papercraft, Corn Weaving, Rugmaking, Jewelry, Toymaking, Appliqué, Beadwork, Patchwork, Smocking, Quilting, Festive Papercraft, Candlemaking, Macramé, Tie-dyeing, Pebble Polishing, Tatting, Basketwork, Fabric Craft, Lampshades, Collage, Batik, Embroidery, Crewel Work, Needlepoint, Crochet, and Knitting !

The explanations and diagrams are very clear. With such a book, you will soon become an expert in the craft(s) you have chosen. It is illustrated with many nice colour photographs.

Dimensions : 28.5 cm x 22.2 cm = 11.22" x 8.74"

Weight (without protection and packaging) : 850 g
It is heavy because it is full of good advice ;-)

It is in very good condition. A tiny damage in the top left corner but nothing serious.

£9.20 inc. tax
