Rare 1971 cookbook: Traditional British Cookery, by Pamela Scott.
It is in acceptable condition.
It shows numerous signs of age and use: - the front and back covers look old. There are some creases in the back cover.- the spine is scratched (please see last picture) - the top and bottom left corners (spine) show some signs of age- the bottom right corners (on front and back covers) are damaged (please see 9th picture)- pages are partly detached from spine beginning at page 44 until page 57 (please see 8th picture)
Apart from these damages and signs of age and use, the pages look good: no tear, no scribble...
Inside of covers show two vintage end of 1960s/very early 1970s adverts for McDougalls flours:
- self raising flour on the front cover
- and plain flour on the back cover
The high quality of the recipes and the fact that this book is very hard to find, will make it a great addition to your cookbook library in spite of its well used condition.
